Tracking
Canuck Express is a dedicated carrier for numerous Ontario grocery stores, caterers and dairy farms. It is our great responsibility to secure the quality of fresh and frozen products we deliver. We are using state-of-the-art technologies to track every load from pickup to destination.
Electronic Dispatch
- Orders we receive are submitted to drivers' ELDs, or Electronic Logging Devices through our electronic dispatch system. This allows us to provide immediate response and also give exact timing about whether the order was received, if the load was picked up, or if the delivery was completed.
GPS
- All of our vehicles are equipped with GPS devices.
- Using GPS devices allow us to follow along with current conditions in real time, and then adjust the routes accordingly with regard to the traffic and road conditions. Our deliveries are far more efficient as a result.
Temperature Monitoring
- All of our reefers have electronic wireless temperature monitors.
- These temperature monitors allow us to report real-time temperature logging.
Speed Monitoring
- Our dispatchers work hard to offer our customers the fastest service possible.
- We also care for the load being delivered intact and the safety of our operations. All our vehicles have speed violation alerts integrated into wireless GPS tracking.
Electronic Tracking Logs
- We are keeping GPS and temperature data logs for our vehicles and trailers and this is available to our customers on demand.
- Our registered customers have real time online access to electronic dispatch and GPS tracking of their loads, as well as any GPS and temperature data logs.
Electronic Data Interchange
- We’re EDI compliant and offer our customers EDI integration. We also offer invoicing by email or through the customers' electronic systems.
- We strive to make our business as green as possible and support customers who switch to paperless offices. All paperwork is being scanned and stored electronically, available by request.
